| Naturally, there was a family up at the pool, and I didn't really want to walk
back out there with my legs soaked in sand and water. So I embarrassedly hung
back until they were ready to leave. After all, I still didn't really know
where the trail was, so I just planned on following them back out. I could
have looked for the trail myself, but they might have seen my soaked legs, and
I might have gone done a dead end again. Eventually, they would figure out I
didn't know where the trail was, and they might laugh and point or something.
Finally, though, they left, and I followed them out. Of course, they were
going too slow, so I just swallowed my pride and walked past them, soaking legs
and all. |
