| This is the Virgin River on the Riverside Walk trail. This is one of the
few handicapped-accessible trails, and there were lots of families on it.
Not the most exciting trail--if you're visiting Zion and don't have much
time, don't bother with this one. Unless you're planning on going past
the end of the trail into the Virgin River Narrows, which I hear is one of
the best places in Zion. The river is the trail, and eventually you're
in the river between sheer rock walls close upon you. The Narrows was
closed for the season by the time I got there--I'll have to go back. |
